Austin Young, 16, and Jordan Smith, 15, rock out during practice Wednesday for Friday's talent show. [0]North Lake Tahoe Bonanza: Rock bands, comedians and future piano maestros will be on display this weekend in Incline Village.

The Incline After-school Organization is holding its third annual youth talent show tonight and Saturday. The showcase features local youths from third grade through high school performing various talents, including anything from musical solos to hip-hop dancing. Chris Laramore is putting together this year's performances and said the talent is better than ever.

"People should come out because it will be extremely entertaining. This is real talent performing and I think the public will have a blast seeing it," Laramore said.

The shows start at 6:30 p.m. each night and take place at the Incline High School auditorium.

Tickets are $5 for students and $15 for adults and can be purchased at any of the Incline community schools, the Lake Tahoe School, Potlatch in the Raley's shopping center and at the high school's doors the night of the show.

Students from all three Incline public schools and the Lake Tahoe School will be represented in the show.

Sierra Nevada College students will also be on hand to assist the acts.

Laramore said over 60 students will be featured in 18 acts at the show.

Two jazz bands, competitive hip-hop dance groups and solo singing artists will also be featured at the show.

"These kids are all excellent at what they do and all of the proceeds go toward a good cause. We use the money to help fund all our after-school programs in Incline, including activities like youth soccer, knitting and the Homework Club. This is all stuff that is pretty important to the kids and this is pretty much the only fundraiser we do," Laramore said.
